Si, en revanche, la valeur limite a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pass\u00e9e, la denr\u00e9e alimentaire est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme impropre \u00e0 la consommation humaine et ne doit donc pas circuler librement.<\/p><p>L\u2019analyse des r\u00e9sidus de pesticides \u00e9tablit la teneur r\u00e9siduelle de la substance active dans le produit analys\u00e9 (la matrice).<\/p><p>Les limites maximales de r\u00e9sidus (LMR) sont les niveaux les plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s de r\u00e9sidus de pesticides autoris\u00e9s dans un produit non transform\u00e9, destin\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019alimentation humaine ou animale. Ces limites r\u00e8glementaires sont exprim\u00e9es en mg\/kg et sont fix\u00e9es pour chaque couple pesticide-matrice.<\/p><p>Les limites maximales de r\u00e9sidus (LMR) d\u00e9finissent la quantit\u00e9 maximale de r\u00e9sidus de pesticide autoris\u00e9e dans un produit alimentaire destin\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Homme ou \u00e0 l\u2019animal. Les LMR varient d\u2019une r\u00e9gion du monde \u00e0 l\u2019autre.
